Anabel Salón was born in 1999 in Barcelona, where she earned a degree in Fine Arts. She later developed her interest in painting at the Venice Academy and currently resides in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She works in illustration and painting, primarily using acrylics in her pieces.

She has worked as an illustrator for the cultural program Cinc Cèntims, collaborating with organizations such as Filmin, the Miró Foundation, and the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona.

Anabel explores themes of nostalgia and intimacy through a costumbrista and realistic style. Through still lifes and everyday scenes, she invites us into a private universe that seeks to capture the permanence of the ephemeral.
